Privacy Policy

Gmail AI Reply ("the Extension") is operated by Hammoudi Ismail. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Anonymous User ID: A randomly generated UUID stored locally in your browser to track your daily usage and plan status. It is never linked to your identity.
• Daily Usage Count: The number of AI replies generated today, stored server-side to enforce the 5/day free limit.
• Billing Email (Pro users only): Collected by Stripe during checkout. We never see or store your credit card details.
• Email Content (temporary): The text of the email you are replying to is sent to our AI provider (Groq) solely to generate your reply. It is not stored on our servers.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your Google account or Gmail credentials
• Your email history or inbox contents
• Any personally identifiable information beyond billing email (Pro)
• Browsing activity outside of Gmail

3. Third-Party Services

• Groq (groq.com): Processes email text to generate AI replies. Subject to Groq's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe (stripe.com): Handles all payments securely. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare Workers: Hosts our backend API. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

• Usage counts are reset daily and deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
• Pro subscription data is retained as long as your subscription is active, then deleted within 90 days of cancellation.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing hammoudi.ismail@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
